I use a home built one of these in my tiny house. Works perfect! Would love to have the same thing on a small volkscruiser, but would it be "legal"? Thanks for your blog btw. Stephen
We installed an airhead, 5 years ago, and haven't regretted it. We do have an extra p pot and solids container. When sailing we empty the p pot overboard, rinse with sea water, add a bit of vinegar and it's ready to put back in place. The extra pot comes in handy when we aren't smooth sailing, or when anchored near shore. More info here: http://airheadtoilet.com/
